Guitar Lessons / Skype online lessons- Orlando Deltona Guitar Lessons – Classical & more!

Jeff Scott teaches Guitar Lessons / Skype online lessons in the Orlando / Deltona / Volusia & Seminole County Florida areas, Any style and any age or level, including servicing the greater Orlando, Deltona, Orange City, Debary, Deland, Daytona Beach, Casadaga, Osteen, Lake Helen, Sanford, Lake Mary, Heathrow, Oviedo Florida areas (and others… please inquire), or you can study from anywhere in the world via online Skype lessons! Available to teach Classical guitar lessons (acoustic / fingerstyle), as well as all other styles including Rock/ popular, Jazz, Blues, Spanish / Flamenco, and Country. I also provide instruction for Bass Guitar, Piano, Drums, and Voice / Vocal lessons.

I am currently accepting students for guitar lessons and other musical instruction during the week. For your convenience, I offer MOBILE IN YOUR HOME traditional in person one-on-one lessons for those in the Deltona and nearby surrounding areas, and also offering lessons online via Skype for those either not local, or just for convenience sake. Mobile lessons in your own home are $35 for a half hour lesson and $60 for an hour lesson (most teens and adults prefer an hour), and online Skype lessons I offer a little cheaper at $50 per hour (or $25 per half hour lesson). Lessons are same time and day each week, unless other arrangements are made.

Teaching Philosophy

I have been performing and teaching all styles and instruments for over 40 years and have a Bachelor’s Degree in music, which means I know how to teach you the proper skills, methods, and techniques to help you achieve your goals faster and more effectively, no matter what style of music you want to play, and at your own pace. I even have my own guitar method book using rock and popular music samples to make it more fun and interesting to learn while incorporating proper technique and music theory, rather than the traditional and boring method books. (For Classical students, I use a more traditional method book teaching proper fingerstyle techniques, notes, and traditional Classical repertoire). After you learn some of the basics (i.e. notes, counting, chords, proper techniques needed), I let YOU choose some songs and music YOU want to play… that way you’ll want to practice even more! I’ve had many students learn more and faster with me in just a few months than they did with others in years. My goal is to help you reach YOUR goal as fast and easy as possible, no matter what style, while still finding ways to keep it interesting as you learn. Whether you’re a total beginner or have been playing for years, I can help you get better!

Traditional lessons

Just as it sounds, in person one-on-one lessons given by me IN YOUR HOME in Deltona, FL and nearby surrounding areas. Payments can be made via cash, check. Zelle, or Paypal. I’m flexible with payment options… You can pay as you go one at a time for each weekly lesson, or some prefer to pay for all lessons in the month in one (or two bi-weekly) payments the first week of each month (makes life easier). As a courtesy, please make Cancellations/ reschedules asap or at least 24 hours advance notice so we can find an alternate time if something comes up that week, and so I can fill your slot with someone else.

Skype lessons

The Skype lessons allow students from anywhere in the country (or world, for that matter) to study with a veteran guitar teacher, from the convenience of your own home. I am an instructor in the USA Eastern Time zone, but having “musician hours” I can be very flexible with times, i.e. late evening hours or very early morning hours may be available if you live in different time zones, or in a different country. Payments must be made in advance via Zelle or Paypal or other arrangement. Please contact me to discuss details and set up lesson time.
